This painting of Reiner had a one year gap from the first time I painted it. When I first painted this I was quite satisfied with it but a year later I thought I could still Improve on it so I went and repainted it. I opted to limit the colours that I used so that I didn't get overwhelmed while rendering. I also had a clearer idea of the light source on the second painting than the first one.

Reiner, like other Attack On Titan characters, had a tonne of blood on his hands but he is quite tormented by and it that's why I put a hand scraping his chest to kind of show his misery.
